Bills & Economics

Weatherstripping is one of the easiest improvements you can make to your home to improve its energy efficiency.

It’s also one of the cheapest because you can do it yourself. Air leakage in your home is the quickest sure fire way to have your energy bill go through the roof; you spend money heating the cold air that comes in during the winter and cooling the hot air that comes in in the summer. Weatherstripping allows you to block out those air leaks, keep moisture out and also block dust and noise from seeping out. You’ll save money on your energy expenditure and have the benefit of a quieter, cleaner, and more energy efficient home. What’s not to love about that?
