Public Comment Opportunities

The next Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15 at 9am in Baton Rouge.

January’s meeting agenda is short, but that doesn’t mean the meeting won’t be long.

The top issue we are watching this month is Exhibit 10, where the LPSC will decide whether or not to change their position on the Southern Spirit line, which has already been approved.
Exhibit 13 is a vote on a consultant to help the Commission vet Entergy’s ask for over $100M for Hurricane Francine restoration.
There will also be two presentations on nuclear power, including one from Entergy Louisiana (as part of Exhibit 14).
Finally, worth watching: Which commissioners will take leadership roles like chair and committee seats representing the LPSC at MISO and SPP (Exhibits 2-6).
